Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you already know, I am planning on serving the Lord full-time as a missionary in Berlin, Germany!!!! Currently, I am home in Ashland, OH working at Olive Garden and staying involved at Grace Brethren Church with music and college ministry. (I start teaching 5th & 6th grade boys this summer!)I am being sent through Evangelical Baptist Missions (www.ebm.org), and will be working with a local church right in Berlin. I will be involved primarily with the youth ministry, worship, and teaching English as a second language.God has been good so far in bringing in support but there is still a ways to go. So far I have 25% of my support ($8,397 out of $34, 000). The full amount will cover all expenses for my two year term as a missionary. Lord willing, I plan to leave for Berlin in January or February of 2011 (if I have my full support).
My mission board (EBM) just informed me that this goal is very reachable! It breaks down to 50 people giving a one-time gift of $500.00 ~ OR ~ $20/month for 24 months.
Would you dare to take the "20/24 Challenge" and get me to Germany by early 2011?Please pray how the Lord may use YOU in Berlin, Germany by supporting me! I would love to hear back from you, how the Lord is working in your life . . .
